Notes:
Florio is a platform that motivates people to do sport and achieve their goals. It allows to track health activities and invite (challenge) other people to join you during your activities by organizing contests using the Florio tokens. The idea is cute but actually quite limited. I’m also not sure that organizing challenges where you use tokens to give to other participants will motivate you to do sport. It could be a trend short term, but more than that, I doubt it. The team is Dutch and not very inspiring. They’re mostly developers with no real management experience. They have a lot of sportspeople as advisors, but that doesn’t mean anything, it’s just for show. They have no real business advisors, and I know how important this is. The platform has still to be built and right now they have an app used as wallet, like Naga. Basically, I don’t see any real potential here, except for the 30% discount. As the ETH price is now over $550, I think they will have a hard time collecting many. I’ll follow next couple of days, but don’t think I’ll invest.
